The V60 offers a choice of Drive Modes, for a driving experience tailored to you. Using the diamond-cut rotary controller, which is positioned between the front seats, you can switch easily between three default settings for the engine, automatic gearbox, steering, brakes, stability control system, and engine stop/start function. You can even create your own combination with Individual mode.
The V60 offers advanced powertrain options, with output ranging from 250-hp to 415-hp.
Our Drive-E powertrains deliver smooth and abundant power with lower emissions and fuel consumption.
The V60 features a standard panoramic moonroof that provides lots of natural light. Those in both the front and rear seats can enjoy it, while special tinted glass reduces the amount of unwanted heat and UV radiation. A power-operated sunshade made of perforated material makes it easy to keep strong light out if necessary, while the large front part of the roof can be tilted or opened to provide extra ventilation. The roof can be closed using either the remote control lock button or, for cars with keyless entry, the door handle button.
Enhance the athletic, powerful character of the V60 with optional 20-inch alloy wheels. The 10 -spoke 'fan' design has a distinctive diamond-cut finish that provides a striking contrast between the matte black inner sections and bright outer sections.
Bring your own style to the V60 with our range of styling accessories. Each one is designed to perfectly complement the crisp , confident lines, whatever trim level you chose. The exterior styling kit includes front and rear splitters, sill moldings and a rear diffuser that give the V60 an even more purposeful stance. An integrated split tailpipe creates a powerful look, while bold 20-inch alloy wheels that perfectly complement the styling kit and tailpipes are also available.
Five supportive seats mean comfort for all. The split-folding rear backrest folds flat to increase cargo space.
The 360˚ SurroundView Camera available in the Volvo V60 helps make parking simple by giving you a bird's-eye view of your car and its immediate surroundings. It's especially useful when fitting into tight spaces, and can help you to avoid parking lot scrapes.
Bowers & Wilkins audio is the top-level sound system for the V60. A collaboration with acclaimed audio manufacturer Bowers & Wilkins, the system delivers 1100 watts to its 15 speakers, including a unique air-ventilated subwoofer that provides powerful bass tones. Each speaker is positioned to optimize the car's acoustics, and there is a dashboard-mounted tweeter that cuts down acoustic reflection from the windscreen.
Three different room modes - Studio, Individual Stage, and Gothenburg Concert Hall - allow you to tailor the sound to your music or mood, while visual details such as stainless steel speaker panels and the Bowers & Wilkins trademark yellow speaker cones contribute to a distinctive, luxurious appearance.
City Safety is a Volvo Cars innovation that helps to protect the people inside and outside the vehicle by looking out for potential danger. It uses radar and camera technology to identify potential hazards such as other vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians, and large animals ahead – day or night. It warns you if it detects an imminent collision and, if you don't react in time, City Safety can automatically apply the brakes to help avoid or mitigate a collision. In the V60, City Safety also includes Steering Support, which helps you to steer away from danger as effectively and safely as possible.
Accidents where a vehicle leaves the road - one of the most common types of accidents - are less likely to happen with Run-off Road Mitigation . It detects if the car is about to leave the road unintentionally and can then use steering and, if necessary, brake support to guide the car back onto the right path.
If the car does leave the road, Run-off Road Protection - another Volvo Cars innovation - reduces the chances of serious injury. It features an energy-absorbing structure in the front seat frames that cushions vertical impact in the event of a hard landing. In addition, safety belts tighten electrically to hold passengers firmly in place.
