The Volvo long-range plug-in hybrid with all-wheel drive and 8-speed automatic for smooth everyday electric driving and powerful performance. A powerful electric motor that drives the rear wheels and a large lithium-ion 400V battery allow you to make most daily drives on pure electric power. You can also use one pedal drive as in a fully electric car. And when you need extra range, you have access to a high-performance gasoline engine with advanced e-boost and turbo technology that drives the front wheels. The two engines also ensure that you always have access to all-wheel drive for increased stability and traction in all road conditions — regardless of the battery charge level. Five drive modes — Pure, Hybrid, Power, Constant all-wheel drive, and Off road — make it easy to adapt the car to your preferences and different situations. A powerful on-board charger provides short charging times. Additionally, the car can be electrically preconditioned without being connected to charging and still provide a good electric range — it's all conveniently operated via the Volvo Cars app.

Independent of weather, the powerful electric heater and air conditioning allow you to enjoy a comfortable cabin climate in your Volvo. A preconditioning function ensures that you can always enter a cabin that’s comfortably climatized before you go—whether it’s cold or hot on the outside. And preconditioning the car while charging will save battery energy and optimize your range in Pure electric mode. For optimized vision and comfort in cold weather, you can activate heating of the front seats, steering wheel, windscreen, rear window, and door mirrors. Preconditioning is conveniently operated from your mobile phone via the Volvo Cars app, or simply by using the car’s center display. Start it directly or select from preset times for departure.

Heated Steering Wheel

Lane Keeping Aid

Lane Keeping Aid adds convenience to highway driving. If you get too close or unintentionally cross a lane marking, it will gently steer your vehicle back into the lane or alert you with vibrations in the steering wheel. Constantly monitoring your position on the road, Lane Keeping Aid provides smooth support at speeds between 65 km/h and 200 km/h (40 mph and 124 mph). When you intentionally cross a lane marking and use the indicator, the system will not intervene. Lane Keeping Aid is standard.
